Focused on creating a working environment rich with natural light to aid in user satisfaction, productivity, moral, and turnover, we explored various means allowing natural light into the facility. Large, open glazed walls, viewing windows, skylights that run the entire length of the building and openings between floors let light pass from one floor to the next. The structures open into a sheltered courtyard, with landscape creating a dense oasis for a comfortable microclimate and cooled through breezes generated by exterior fans.
