CCSD FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER

To provide support to our children and ensure they are taken care of, while also supporting the entire family, the center houses 11 community partners to provide tangible engagement with our families and the community.

Divisions from the Clark County School District at the center will include English language learning, student services, student support and engagement. These divisions will work together with our community partners to break down silos to benefit our students and community.

Researching centers in Boston, LA, and Texas were used to determine the best practices for the design, which helps move away from an institutional feel by creating an atmosphere of open engagement through the courtyard design. Classrooms and community room open into the courtyard to create a visual connection between indoors and landscape.
